Linda Ann Willey Carley passed away Saturday, Novermber 28, 2020.

Linda is survived by her children Dawn & husband Rocky Ravenna; Erica & husband Mark Wojchick of Walpole, NH; Heidi Carley; Ingrid & husband John Cutler; 11 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; her sister-in-law Joyce Banford & wife Linda Martineau of Turners Falls, MA; 6 nieces and nephews and their families. Linda was pre-deseaced by her beloved husband, Brian Carley, of 57 years on September 22, 2020; sister Eileen Baillargeon of Whately, Massachusetts; sister-in-law Jerilynn & husband Irvin Bruneau of Guildford, Vermont and a half brother-in-law David Dewey of E. Randolph, Vermont

Linda is the daughter of the late Bertha Berry Willey (Brattleboro, Vermont) and Basil Willey (Claremont, NH). She was born and spent her early years in Newport, Vermont; later moving with her family to White River Jct, Vermont. She attended high school in Hartford, Vermont, graduating in 1958. Linda attended Beauty School of Hair Design in Burlington, VT.

On May 4th, 1963, Linda married Brian Lawrence Carley from Brattleboro, Vermont. They met when Linda moved to Brattleboro to work at Ludwig "Ludys" Hair Styling after graduating from the Sheldon Academy of Beauty School in Burlington, Vermont.

Linda and Brian soon started their family of four daughters and Linda enjoyed being a stay-at-home mother. She also kept her fingers busy over the decades in hair design. She worked part-time at Arlene Georgina's salon, Kate's Place and Scissor Master's. Linda also worked with Brian in his cleaning business and ended her career retiring from the Brattleboro Retreat after 30 years of housecleaning. She adored and cared for the children residing there and often gave them haircuts when in need.

Linda's hobbies included needlework, quilting, camping, hiking, canoeing and spending time with family and friends. Brian and Linda were members of the B&K Spofford Beach Club in Spofford, NH; Jaycee's and Eastern Star organizations in Brattleboro as well as members of Center Congregational Church in Brattleboro where Linda taught Sunday school in the 70's.

Along with her four daughters and many nieces and nephews Brian and Linda made time and welcomed many children into their home and along on family adventures.

A small memorial service will be held at Meeting House Hill Cemetery, 580 Orchard Street, Brattleboro, VT 05301 on Saturday, December 12 at 1 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Linda's name to Alzheimer's Association.
