Linda M. Couture

LINDA M. COUTURE MANCHESTER – Linda M. (Downie) Couture, 62, died Sunday, May 2, 2010 at the Community Hospice House, in Merrimack, following a brave battle with cancer. Mrs. Couture was born in Manchester, NH, May 10, 1947, the daughter of Alton and Paula (Smith) Downie. She was a lifelong resident of Manchester. Members of her family, in addition to her mother include; her husband of 44 years, Marc Couture, of Manchester; one son, Scott Couture, two daughters, Carol Sipe and Tracey Couture, one brother Bob Downie, and one sister Carol Cote. IN HER LIFE: In addition, other family members include; her son-in-law, William Sipe; a daughter-in-law, Melissa Couture, her grandchildren, Brandon Couture, Matthew Wilcox and Cody Maxey. Mrs. Couture was predeceased by her brother, Thomas Downie. What was really important to Linda was her family and friends. SERVICES: Calling hours will be Thursday, May 6, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 250 Coolidge Avenue, in Manchester. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 7, 10:00 AM at the Parish of the Transfiguration, 107 Alsace Street, in Manchester.
