Linda Maria Ducharme, 77, of Manchester, NH, passed away at Elliot Hospital on October 31, 2026. Born in Manchester on June 21, 1949, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Jacqueline (Bourque) Stewart. She shared 58 years of marriage with her husband, Richard Ducharme.

Linda was a 1968 graduate of Central High School. In her younger years, she could often be found at the Bedford Grove Roller Rink, where she met her future husband, Richard. She began roller skating when she was three years old and continued skating throughout her life, participating in many competitions along the way. Linda worked for Modutek doing piece work, at Sully’s Superette where she was the bakery manager, and later worked as a receptionist at Dartmouth Hitchcock in Manchester until her retirement.

Linda thoroughly enjoyed crafting, especially making special items and gifts using her Cricut. She was an amazing baker and was famous for her candied popcorn and homemade caramels. Linda found great comfort in her faith and was a member of the Weare Christian Church. She was a volunteer with the Palace Theater in Manchester, where she served as an usher. She also enjoyed her time as a member of the “Boot Scootin Boomers”. Above all else, Linda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who cherished time spent with her loved ones.

Linda is survived by her husband, Richard A. Ducharme of Manchester, NH; her children, Richard T. Ducharme and his wife Sarah of Hillsborough, NH, Kelly Ducharme and her wife Melissa of The Villages, FL, Cindy Spooner and her husband Porter of Weare, NH, and Gary Ducharme and his wife Christine of Bedford, NH; her grandchildren, Corey, Elizabeth, Tyler, Ben, Emma, Caitlin, Brittney, Sarah, Amanda, and Samantha; her great-grandchildren, Millie and Wynter; her granddaughter-in-law, Kaitlyn; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. In addition to her parents, Linda was predeceased by her child, Cindy’s twin, who was lost during pregnancy; her grandchildren, Zachary Spooner and Loren Ducharme; her brothers, Thomas and John Stewart; and her sister, Susan Heroux.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Wednesday, November 11th from 4PM-7PM at Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH. She will be laid to rest on Thursday, November 12th at 9AM at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH. Family and friends are invited to attend.
