Linda A. Roberge

Linda Agnes Roberge, 52, of Manchester, NH, passed away unexpectedly on May 22, 2022. She was born on August 17, 1969 to John & Colette (Laforge) Kanlis.

Born and raised in Manchester, Linda spent her life in New Hampshire, splitting her time between Manchester and her home of 20 years in Candia. She graduated from Central High School and would go on to work as an assistant manager and eventual manager of the Canad/Hoyts Cinema for over 20 years. Linda was always happiest when working at the cinema, and was looked upon as a mother figure to her co-workers and often called “everyone’s favorite manager.” After the cinema, she would go on to work as a real estate agent for 6 years and finally an LNA for several years as well.

Those who had the privilege of knowing Linda will remember a beautiful, witty, fun-loving person who was fiercely loyal and selfless towards the people she loved, sometimes to her own detriment. She loved playing pranks and having a good laugh, riding her bike on the Massabesic trails, playing sports like badminton and kickboxing, and being outside during the summer. She especially loved going to the beach any chance she could get.

Linda is predeceased by her father John Kanlis. She is survived by her mother Colette (Laforge) Kanlis; daughter Amanda Levesque and her husband Kyle; daughter Nicole Richardson and her husband Dave; former spouse David Roberge; sister Melissa Klocek; sister Jessica Wallin; grandchildren Soryn & Mackenzie, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

A private family gathering for family and invited guests only will be held on Friday, June 3^rd from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Phaneuf Funeral Homes, 243 Hanover St. Manchester, NH. A public celebration of Linda’s life will be held the same day for friends from 7:00 – 8:00 PM.
