Lionel J. Boudreau, 83, of 296 Walnut Street, died August 7, 2004 at Catholic Medical Center. He was born in Lowell, MA on November 17, 1920, the son of Elphege and Marie Rose (Gingras) Boudreau and had been a Manchester resident since 1945. He was a World War II Army Veteran. He had been employed by the Veterans Administration as a Contact Representative for 35 years until his retirement. He was a parishioner of St. Joseph Cathedral. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed boating on Lake Winnipesauke. Family members include his wife of 50 years, Lucille (Morin) Boudreau; two daughters, Anne Gallagher of Hopkinton and Donna Cahill of Potomac, MD; two grandchildren; a sister, Gloria Morin of Manchester; and one cousin. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street on Thursday from 4 to 8 PM.
