LORA MARY MARSHALL
FRANCONIA -- Lora M. Marshall, 75, passed away at the Lafayette Center in Franconia, on December 17, 2002.
A native of Littleton, Lora was born on April 8, 1927, a daughter to Arthur and Blanche (Gilman) Carbonneau. She graduated from Littleton High School in the Class of 1945 and attended Burdett Business College in Boston, MA.
Lora worked as a secretary at the Norton Pike Company in Littleton from 1946 to 1958. She married Raymond H. Marshall on July 15, 1956 and after taking off five years from work to start a family, she worked as a secretary for the United States Eastern Amateur Ski Association, the Littleton Superintendent of Schools, and as the Office Manager at Profile Broadcasting. In addition, Lora was also the Office Manager of her husbands land surveying business.
She enjoyed nature and spending time outdoors. She traveled extensively throughout North America with her husband and especially enjoyed her time spent in the Canadian Rockies and Alaska.
Surviving family members include her husband, Raymond H. Marshall and her son, Peter H. Marshall of Littleton, NH.
SERVICES -- Funeral services will be held in the spring.
