Loretta A. Bertrand

Loretta A. Bertrand, 82, of Manchester died September 25, 2006 at Ridgewood Center in Bedford following a lengthy illness. She was born on November 19, 1923 in Manchester the daughter of Fred and Laura (Madore) Jodoin. She was educated in Manchester and graduated with honors from Central High School. Mrs. Bertrand worked for a number of years at Marion Electrical Instrument Company before marrying and traveling extensively with her husband, Roland during his twenty years in the United States Air Force. Family members include; her husband of 55 years, Roland A. Bertrand; three daughters, Leona Mara of San Antonio, Texas, Lorraine Marino of Manchester and Joan Lambert of Merrimack; 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Paul Bertrand in 1980. A private family gathering will be held Friday morning at Phaneuf Funeral Homes with interment to follow in the New Hampshire State Veteran Cemetery in Boscawen.
