Loris (Djerbaka) Farra, 93, of Manchester, passed away on November 4, 2022.
She was born in Aleppo, Syria on December 3, 1928, the daughter of Gabriel and Khatoun (Makoukjy) Djerbaka, and the widow of Dicran Gabriel Farra.
Loris was a devout catholic who enjoyed reading the bible every day. She was an avid knitter, and many friends and family members across the country cherish her scarves and blankets. She was an excellent cook, loved her family, and doted on her grandchildren, especially her great grandchildren.
She is survived by her son Gabriel Farra and his wife Ann of Atlantic Beach, FL; her daughter Paulette Farra and her husband Dr. Raphael Farra of Manchester, NH; and her son, Robert Farra and his wife Lolita of Falmouth, MA; five grandchildren, Bianca Farra, Carla Farra, Amanda Farra, Anna Farra, and Alexander Farra; three great grandchildren, Jake, Isla, and Violet; a brother, George Djerbaka and his wife Lucy of Leominster, MA; and nephews and nieces and their families.
She was predeceased by her parents, her brother Antoine Djerbaka, and sisters Teresa Djerbaka and Georgette Baho, and her brother-in-law Fred Baho.
A visitation and celebration of life followed by a memorial service will take place at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St., Manchester, in the spring.
