Lorisse R. "Larry" Daigneault

Manchester- Lorisse R. "Larry" Daigneault, 90, beloved husband of the late Priscilla T. (Demers) Daigneault, died August 5, 2014 at home in Manchester following a brief illness surrounded by his family. His wishes were to spend his final days in his home of 58 years. This was made possible by the Manchester VNA Hospice. Larry and his family greatly appreciated their help, comfort, and compassion.

Born in St. Malo, Quebec, Canada on September 9, 1923, son of the late George & Ida (Roy) Daigneault.

A dutiful father of four, his family was paramount in his life. He enjoyed spending time with his family and took great pride in watching his grandchildren and great-grandchildren learn and grow. Larry loved playing cribbage, traveling, hockey, growing flowers and working at Bee Bee Shoe and Prevue Products. A kind and thoughtful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and friend, he will be deeply missed.

In addition to his late wife of 68 years, Larry is survived by his children, Dennis Daigneault of Derry, Diane Demers and her husband Andy of Manchester, Larry Daigneault and his wife Sharon of Manchester and Laurie Lamont of Bedford. He was a caring Pepere & Peppep to six grandchildren; Jim, Brian, Aaron, Adam, Ben, and Jessica and his five great-grandchildren Cheryl, Ryan, Christian, Katherine and Aiden who is expected in December.

Arrangements: His funeral will be held from the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 250 Coolidge Ave., Manchester, on Tuesday, August 12th. Visiting hours 8:30 to 10:30 A.M followed by his funeral Mass in Ste. Marie Church, 378 Notre Dame Ave., at 11A.M. Entombment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester, after the funeral Mass. Friends and relatives invited. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Larry's memory to the Alzheimer's Association, 480 Pleasant St., Watertown, MA 02472.
