Lorraine J. (Wenzel) Brown, 78, died, Tuesday, October 21, at the Catholic Medical Center, following a long illness.
She was born in Goffstown, NH, on September 21, 1930, the daughter of the late Harold and Mary (Morrissette) Wenzel. She was a resident of the Manchester area for most of her life.
Mrs. Brown was employed at the Manchester Mental Health, where she worked in housekeeping.
She was a communicant of St. Pius X Church, in Manchester.
Family members include; her son, Scott E. Brown, of Manchester; 2 grandchildren; 1 brother, Leon J. Morrissette, of Manchester; 3 sisters, Dorothy Coan, Ella Currier and Diane Currier, all of Manchester; 2 nieces and 2 nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Everett Brown, who died in 1975.
SERVICES: Calling hours will be Thursday, October 23, from 6:00 â 8:00 P.M. at Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover Street, corner of Union Street, in Manchester. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, 11 A.M. at St. Pius X Church, 575 Candia Road, in Manchester. Burial will take place at a later date in Pine Grove Cemetery, in Manchester.
It has been suggested that those who wish may make memorial gifts to St. Pius X Church, 575 Candia Road, Manchester, NH 03109, or to New England Heart Institute, 100 McGregor Street, Manchester, NH 03102, in memory of Mrs. Brown.
