Lorraine A. Caruso

Lorraine A. Caruso, 86, of Manchester, NH, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at the Maple Leaf Health Care Center, in Manchester, NH.

She was the loving wife of George A. Caruso, Jr. with whom she shared 66 years of marriage.

Lorraine was born in Cambridge, MA on August 12, 1937 to the late Alfred and Rose (Brady) Cossette. She met the love of her life, George, while roller skating at the Wallex and together they settled down to raise a family.

She is survived by her three children, George Caruso, III (m. Donna M. Caruso), Joseph Caruso (m. Loren E. Caruso) and Marianne Prescott (m. Steve Prescott); eight grandchildren Ryan Crooker, Kristina Ott (m. Rusty Ott), Cheryllynn Walker (m. Michael Walker), Alicia Collier (m. Anthony Decker), Katrina Kiro (m. Keven Kiro), Wendy Lee, Robin Heneghan (m. Patrick Heneghan), and David A. L. Herring (m. Kalila Herring); and eleven great grandchildren Avery Decker, Abriella Decker, Alina Decker, Emma Walker, Ethan Walker, Kobe Kiro, Julia Walter, Jamie Walter, Keira Heneghan, Blake Heneghan, Davy Herring, Luca Herring.

May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love felt for her by all of the lives she touched here on earth.

SERVICES: Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, January 17, from 11 a.m. -12 p.m. at Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue in Manchester. A funeral service will follow at 12 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Manchester. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend.
