Lorraine Desfosses

Lorraine M. (Ducharme) Desfosses, 77, of Manchester, passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at Catholic Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family following a lengthy illness.

Born in Manchester, she was the daughter of the late Gerard and Fleurette (Bergeron) Ducharme. Raised and educated in Manchester, she worked as a lab technician at Teradyne for many years after raising her seven children.

A dedicated wife, mother, memere, and friend, Lorraine's family was paramount in her life. She cherished time spent with her family and lovingly welcomed newborns to their family. An animal lover, her two beloved dogs, Maggie Mae and Molly, and sweet kitty, Abby, brought her great comfort and companionship during her illness. She enjoyed watching ice skating competitions and the Game Show Network. Lorraine cheered for the Red Sox and Patriots, sharing game day with family and friends. In her younger years, Lorraine enjoyed roller skating, bowling and watching her husband, Bob, play softball. Lorraine will be best remembered for her generous heart and love of family.

In addition to her devoted husband Robert Desfosses, with whom she shared over 50 years, Lorraine is survived by three daughters, Linda Moisan and husband Frank of Manchester, Laurie-Ann Roberge of Allenstown, and Lee-Ann Pion and husband Mike of SC; four sons, David Roberge and wife Barbara of Hopkinton, Denis Roberge of Manchester, Mark Roberge and wife Wendy of Manchester, and Robert Desfosses, Jr., of Manchester; seventeen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; sister, Pauline Previe; six brothers, Leo Ducharme, Roland Ducharme, Richard Ducharme, Jean Ducharme, Mike Ducharme, and Danny Ducharme; several nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. In addition to her parents, Lorraine was predeceased by her brother, Paul Ducharme.

ARRANGEMENTS: Her Visitation will be held in the Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St., Manchester on Tuesday, October 2 from 2:00 to 6:00P.M. with her Funeral Service at 4:00P.M. Friends and relatives invited. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Lorraine memory to St. Jude Childrens Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or at www.stjude.org\donate.
