Lorraine J. Helie

Lorraine J. Helie, 85, of Goffstown, NH passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 2nd, 2021 with her husband and best friend of over 60 years Jean Helie, by her side. She was born on July 28, 1935 to the late Aime & Yvonne (Desmarais) Hebert.

Lorraine was born and raised in Manchester, NH where she attended school, married her husband and raised her family that meant the world to her. Those who had the privilege of knowing Lorraine will remember her as a caring, loving, generous, selfless and loyal mother, grandmother and friend whose radiant smile could light up a room. She was a good person in every sense of the word.

Lorraine was always her best self when surrounded by the people she loved. Whether it was during the holidays, hosting a birthday, or simply bringing the family together at her house, she was happiest when her family was together. She was a devoted Catholic for her entire life, and throughout her later years she loved crafting and completing thousands upon thousands of word search puzzles. Above all, Lorraine was loved immensely and will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched.

She is predeceased by her son Jean P. Helie; grandson Michael J. Craig; great grandson Wyatt Moore; and her three sisters Estelle Moses, Rita Taillon and Constance Pinard Mandeville. She is survived by her husband Jean Helie; daughter Collette Craig with her partner Tom Nilsson; daughter Marcelle St. Pierre and her husband Claude; Grandchildren Stephanie, Christopher, Jessica, Beth, Jillian, Jenna, Matthew and Lauren. As well as many great grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

A private service for immediate family only will be held in the coming days.
