Lorraine G. Leathers

Lorraine G. Leathers, 91, of Bradford, NH died on Friday, June 30, 2023 at her residence in Bradford, NH.  

Mrs. Leathers was born on July 7, 1931, in Manchester, NH, the daughter of the late Leo and Lena (Morin) Dignam. She grew up in Manchester and attended local schools.

Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Leathers was employed as a case manager and worked for Pennsylvania Blue Cross & Blue Shield for 20 years.   

She enjoyed cooking and gardening. Mrs. Leathers made friends wherever she went. She was a people person and enjoyed being around everyone.

Members of her family include; three sons, Glen E. Leathers and is wife Jacqueline, of Concord, NH; David S. Leathers and his wife Melanie, of Bradford, NH; Donald C. Leathers and his wife Robin, of Red Lion, PA; five grandchildren, five great grandchildren; two brothers, Walter Dignam, of Goffstown, NH; Leo Dignam, of Manchester, NH; one sister, Claire Heath, of Portsmouth, NH; many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Mrs. Leathers was predeceased by her husband, Donald Leathers, who passed away in 2009.  

SERVICES: Calling hours will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2023 from 12 – 1 PM at Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, in Manchester. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 1 PM. Committal prayers and interment will follow at Holbrook Cemetery, in Candia, NH.    

Donations can be made to Granite State VNA Hospice in memory of Mrs. Leathers.
