Lorraine T. McQuade

Lorraine T. (Collette) McQuade, 82, of Manchester, died November 12, 2009 at Villa Crest Health Care Center. She was born in Manchester on September 13, 1927, the daughter of Arthur and Rose (Maynard) Collette and had been a lifelong resident of the city. She was a homemaker and was fond of crafts, especially crocheting and making hook rugs. The joy of her life were her great grandchildren. She was the widow of William McQuade, Sr., who died in 2008. Family members include her son, William McQuade, Jr. of Manchester; a daughter, Linda Gamache of Hampton; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren; and nephews, nieces and cousins. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday morning at 10:00 in St. Anthony Church. A graveside committal service will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the New Horizons for New Hampshire, Soup Kitchen, 199 Manchester St., Manchester, NH 03105.
