Lorraine Pilotte

Lorraine (Paquette) Pilotte, 85, of Littleton, died December 3, 2009, at Morrison Nursing Home after a long illness. She was born May 2, 1924 in Lyndonville, VT to Louis O. and Edna (Martel) Paquette. Her childhood was spent in Gilman, VT until the family moved to Massachusetts where she went to schools in Watertown and Framingham. In 1946 Lorraine married Leon L. Pilotte and they built a home on Pine Street in Littleton where they lived for 51 years. Leon predeceased her in 1997. The couple had two daughters, Sharon and her husband Peter Mountain of Bethlehem and Ellen Woolsey of Littleton. Other family members include grandson Ryan Mountain of Lee, NH and granddaughter, Tara Craig of Bethlehem; also 4 great-grandchildren, Ty and Brady Mountain, Mackenzie and Conner Craig. Lorraine also had a wonderful sister-in-law who was married to Paul Pillotte and whose name is also Lorraine Pilotte. Over the years Lorraine worked in several area businesses but for the last 15 years were with Profile Cleaners as a presser. She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Parish for Nearly 60 years. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Association. There will be no calling hours. The Funeral Mass will be held at 1 pm Wednesday December 9, 2009 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Marcel Martel officiating. A private committal will be held at St. Rose Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Keller & Pillsbury Funeral Homes.
