Louise Alice Ellison, 55, of Manchester, died September 2, 2009 at Parkland Medical Center in Derry following a lengthy illness. She was born in Manchester on December 30, 1953, the daughter of James Edward and Yvonne Doris (Soucy) Ellison, and had been a lifelong resident of the city. She graduated from Memorial High School and then obtained her culinary degree from New Hampshire College while raising her family. Louise loved her dogs Bear and Jake, going to yard sales and flea markets, reading, and spending time with her family and friends. She always looked for and found the good in others. In Her Life: Family members include her mother of Hudson; three sons, Jason A. Silver and his wife Megan, Christopher A. Silver and his wife Janice, and Kyle S. Lamos, all of Manchester; six grandchildren; five sisters, Ilene Ellison of Manchester, Denise Whitmore of Deering, Jo-Ann Ellison and Elizabeth "Litty" Ellison both of Hudson, and Janet Hudon of Deering; a brother-in-law, Gary Hudon of Deering; her ex-husband, Brent Silver of Manchester; three aunts; a niece, Sarah Davani; two nephews, John A. Demers and Dylan A. McGuire who she fondly referred to as "her special Dilly Bar". A memorial gathering will take place at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street on Saturday morning from 10:00 to Noon. A memorial service will follow at noon in the funeral home.
