FRANCONIA, NH --- Louise Poore,92, formerly of Lyman, N.H., passed away on February 19, 2007 at the Lafayette Center Genisis Eldercare in Franconia, NH.
She was born in Lisbon, NH, the daughter of Frank and Mary (Bolduc) Sylvester on November 14, 1914. Louise was a lifelong resident of the area. She was employed at the Lisbon Shoe Company and Lisbon Furniture Factory during her working career.
Louise liked farming, gardening, and any good reading material. She was a member of the St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Lisbon.
Family members include a son Philip and his wife Evelyn Poore of Lyman, NH; daughter Barbara and her husband John Elliott of Lisbon; four grandchildren Philip Jr. of Lyman, NH, Les and his wife Melissa of Lyman, NH, John and his wife Laura Elliott of Virginia, and Erica Elliott of Lisbon, NH; two great grandsons Nickolas and Jacob Poore. Her husband Robert W. Poore pre-deceased her on May 10, 1984 and four brothers and six sisters.
SERVICES: A mass of Christian burial will be held Friday at 2:00pm at the St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, School Street, Lisbon, NH. At her request there will be no calling hours.
Family suggests donations be made in Louises Memory to the Lisbon Library, School Street, Lisbon, NH 03585.
