Lucia M. (Paquin) Trudeau, 83, of 5 Elmwood Avenue, died July 22, 2003 at her residence. She was born in Hooksett on September 29, 1919, the daughter of Adolphe and Lydia (Marcotte) Trudeau and had been a lifelong resident of Manchester. She was a shoe inspector for many years, working for various local companies. She was a long-time parishioner of St. Edmond Church and was a member of the Pinardville Athletic Club. She loved to knit and crochet and was kind and friendly to everyone she met. She was the widow of Henri Trudeau who died in 1981 and was predeceased by a daughter, Cecile Sanders. Family members include her daughter and caregiver, Doris Renshaw of Manchester with whom she resided; two sons, Lucien Trudeau and Ronald Trudeau, both of Manchster; ten grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren; a brother, Edgar Paquin of Hooksett; a sister, Juliette Dubois of Manchester; and several nephews, nieces and cousins. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday morning at 9:00 AM in the Parish of the Transfiguration. Burial will follow in St. Augustin Cemetery.
