Lucien J. Desrochers, 72, of Goffstown, died suddenly in Nova Scotia International Waters, Canada August 29, 2000. He was born in Goffstown on October 29, 1927, the son of Joseph and Adeline (Duford) Desrochers and had been a resident of the Manchester and Goffstown Communities for most of his life. He was a WW II Navy Veteran and also served during the Korean Conflict. Lucien was the proprietor of Webster Heights Market in Manchester for 21 years. He retired from Hillsborough County Nursing Home and worked part time for the Webster House. He enjoyed woodworking, helping people, gardening and especially spending time with his family. Family members include his wife of 50 years, Lillian (Gamache) Desrochers of Goffstown, two sons, Leonard Desrochers of Goffstown and Lucien Desrochers of Bridgton, Maine, four daughters, Lena Morgan of Goffstown, Lucy Soule of Bristol, Laura Tuttle of Weare and LuAnn Lepicier of Goffstown, 15 grandchildren, one great granddaughter, a brother, Andrew Desrochers of Texas, two sisters, Geraldine Charest and Angela Desrochers, several nieces and nephews. SERVICES: Calling hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue, Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Funeral Services will be in the funeral home on Saturday morning at 10 o'clock. Burial will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
