Lucien J. Masson

Lucien J. Masson, 80, of Northfield, NH died May 24, 2001, at Franklin Hospital, Franklin, NH. He was born In Manchester, NH on August 16, 1920, the son of Willie and Eva (Chevalier) Masson and had been a resident of Manchester for most of his life. He owned and operated L. Masson Oil for over 30 years and worked for J. J. Moreau for 20 years. Lucien was a parishionner of Sacred Heart Church. Family members include his wife of 61 years, Marie Claire (Janelle) Masson of Northfield, three sons, Donald Masson of Manchester, Richard Masson of Florida and Raymond Masson of Manchester, a daughter Doris (Masson) Baker of Northfield, with whom he and Marie Claire resided with, 15 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, a brother Robert Masson of Rhode Island,two sisters, Claire (Masson) Talbot and Jeannette Masson, both of Manchester, several nieces, nephews and cousins. SERVICES: Calling hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue, Monday evening from 6 to 9. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock in Sacred Heart Church, Manchester, NH. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Manchester, NH.
