Lucien P. Miville, 73, formerly of 55 Amory Street, died March 27, 2008 at Catholic Medical Center. He was born in Manchester on September 9, 1934, the son of Philippe and Angeline (Bouchard) Miville and had been a lifelong resident of the city. He had worked as a landscaper for many years and was well know for designing and maintaining the outdoor flower planters at the Hampshire Plaza. He was a Korean War Veteran and has been an avid gardener. He was predeceased by his first wife, Dorothy (Clark) Johnston and by his second wife, Rita (Landry) Miville. Family members include a son, Daniel Johnston of Manchester; a daughter, Jacqueline Johnston of Manchester; several step children; two grandchildren and many step grandchildren; three sisters, Majella Lawrence of Manchester, Louise Gamache of Nashua and Gertrude Violette of Manchester; and nephews, nieces and cousins. In His Life: He was predeceased by three brothers, Maurice Miville, Laurent Miville and Felix Miville and by a sister, Rita Dionne. A memorial service with military honors is scheduled for Tuesday at 2:00 PM in the NH State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen. Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium is in charge of arrangements.
