Lucille Allard

Lucille Allard, 90, a lifelong resident of Manchester, passed away peacefully on September 27, 2021 surrounded by her family. She is the loving wife of the late Roland Allard with whom she would have celebrated 70 years of marriage.

Lu, as she was affectionately known, loved her family. She enjoyed square dancing with her husband, painting, and found solace in visiting the shore at York Beach. She graduated from Manchester West High School and took accounting courses at Hesser College which led to various bookkeeping jobs.

Lu is survived by her children; Kenneth Allard of Manchester, Denise Shannon and her husband Homer of Windham, Dennis Allard and his wife Nancy of Manchester, and Diane Decker and her husband Kevin of Manchester, grandchildren; Travis, Haylea, Holly, and Joel, 3 great grandchildren, a sister, Constance Renaud of Goffstown and many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her husband Roland, son Steven Allard and brother Normand Blouin.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 5th at 1:30pm at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street in Manchester. Both Lucille and Roland will be laid to rest at the New Hampshire State Veteran Cemetery in Boscawen following the service at 2:30pm. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend.
