Goffstown â Lucille I. Palmer, 77, died April 7, 2014 at Community Hospice House in Merrimack following a long battle with cancer.
She was born October 5, 1936 the daughter of Arthur and Germaine (Therrien) Proulx.
She was predeceased by her father Arthur Proulx and first grandchild, Tanya Palmer. Lucille was a loving wife to her husband of 58 years Roland, and a devoted mother to her four daughters, and was a cherished grandmother of 15 and great grandmother of 12.
Lucille is survived by her husband Roland O. Palmer of Goffstown, her mother Germaine Proulx of Bedford, her daughters Patricia Arsenault and husband Robert of Epsom, NH, Diane Lacerte and husband Roger of Manchester, NH, Jacqueline McBride and friend John Grefe of Dunellon, FL and Constance Boutin and husband Francis of Manchester, NH, fourteen grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, her brother Andrew Proulx and wife Irene of Manchester, NH, brother Raymond and wife Vi Proulx of Dade City, FL, sister Irene McCormick of Concord, NH and many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She will be eternally loved and missed.
The Memorial Gathering will be held at the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 250 Coolidge Ave., Manchester on Thursday from 6-8PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00 AM at St. Lawrence Church, Main St., Goffstown. Everyone is asked to meet at church. Interment will follow at the NH State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, NH at 12:00PM. In lieu of flowers donations in Lucille's memory can be made to the American Cancer Society, 2 Commerce Dr. #110, Bedford, NH 03110.
