Lucille J. (Houle) Philie, 49, of Manchester, passed away at her residence on January 13, 2010. She was born in Coaticook, PQ, Canada on October 15, 1960, the daughter of Anatole and Fernande (Lavallee) Houle and had been a Manchester resident for most of her life. She was an avid craftsperson and loved doing hobbies and crafts with her husband. She enjoyed going to her camp in Norton, VT where she snowmobiled and went four-wheeling. She also loved riding her trike mototcycle. But most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She had been a parishioner of Ste. Marie Church. In Her Life: Family members include her husband of 31 years, Danny Philie; a son, Bruce Philie and his wife Amy of Merrimack; a daughter, Melissa Wheeler and her husband Brian of Weare; two grandchildren, Liberty and Liak Philie. She is also survived by six brothers, Gilles Houle of Norton, VT, Peter Houle of Canada, Claude Houle of Canaan, VT, Serge Houle of Norton, VT, Patrick Houle and Benoit Houle, both of Beecher Falls, VT; four sisters, France Bissonnette and Celine Roy, both of Canada, Sylvie Campeau of Manchester and Carol Gosselin of Springfield, MA; and many nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts and cousins. A memorial gathering will take place at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St on Sunday from 5 to 8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday morning at 10:00 in Ste. Marie Church.
