Born in Manchester, NH on November 25, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Lucien and Jeannette (Bellerose) Lavigne. She shared 62 years of marriage with her husband, Jean Tremblay.

Lucille was raised in Manchester and Hooksett and was a 1959 graduate of St. George High School for Girls. She had a long career as a secretary and administrative assistant, beginning at her father’s business, Car-Land Auto Body in Hooksett. Lucille was a vivacious beauty and lit up a room with her dazzling smile and always had a kind word for everyone.  She enjoyed staying active and her hobbies included bowling, hiking, sailing, traveling and going on motorcycle rides with Jean. She relished her role as homemaker and was a baker extraordinaire in between her duties as a den mother and staunch cheerleader for all her children and grandchildren’s sports teams. Above all else, she was a beloved wife, sister, nurturing mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who cherished time spent with her family of which she said she was blessed, but it was all of us who were blessed to have her in our lives.

Lucille is survived by her husband, Jean Tremblay of Litchfield, NH; her children, David Tremblay and his wife Julie of Andover, MA, Diane Brown and her husband Michael of Kennebunk, ME, Elaine Smith and her husband Dennis of Hudson, NH, and Marc Tremblay of Waco, TX.  Lucille was the oldest of nine siblings including her brothers, Paul Lavigne and his wife Nancy of Meredith, NH, Richard Lavigne of Hooksett, NH, Ronald Lavigne and his wife Cindy of Manchester, NH, and Michael Lavigne and his fiancé Marcia of Hooksett, NH; her sisters, Pauline Repucci and her husband John of Concord, MA, Suzanne LaBonville and her husband Jean of North Myrtle Beach, SC, Doreen Given and her husband Thomas of Warner, NH, and JoAnn Parziale and her husband Kevin of Pittsburg, NH; as well as 10 grandchildren: Tyler Smith and his wife Olivia, Owen Smith and his wife Bethany, Samantha Robards and her husband Justin, Nicholas Brown, Kathleen Brown, Cooper Tremblay and his fiancé Jessica Raps, Jackson Tremblay, Tucker Tremblay, Luke Tremblay and Joy Tremblay and 2 great-granddaughters:  Ella Smith and Lucille’s namesake, Lucy Robards; many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
