Lucinda Lemay

Lucinda Lemay, 91, of Manchester, died February 16, 2002 at St. Theresa Manor. She was born in Manchester on June 8, 1909, the daughter of Eugene and Aldea Lemay and had been a lifelong resident of the city. She was a member of the Federation of the Blind, Gate City and Merrimack Valley Chapters. She also belonged to the Friendship Club and the Manchester Sunset Club. She was an active member and the longest surviving volunteer of the Retired Senior Volunteer Program. She belonged to the Catholic Golden Age and the Hillsborough County Home Guild and was a parishioner of St. Jean the Baptist Church. Family memebers include a brother, Lionel Lemay of Manchester; a sister, Georgette Page of Manchester; and several nephews, nieces and cousins. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue on Tuesday from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday morning at 10:00 in St. Jean the Baptist Church. Entombment will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
