It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Luther Calvin Sherod Jr. (Louie), who left us far too soon. Louie as we lovingly called him was born in Nashua, NH to Ruth and Luther Sherod where he spent his early years growing up. He was later raised in Derry where he attended Pinkerton Academy.
Louie lived many lives in his short time on Earth. Despite his struggles with mental health he did his best to get what he could out of life. He never let things get him down and dealt with many things in life with humor. Some simple things he enjoyed was WWE which he was an avid fan of. He went to many shows as often as he could. He also loved his video games which he played as often as he could but despite his efforts could never beat his sister in Mortal Kombat.
As he got older he was a simple man choosing to spend a lot of time with family and even working with his father during the winter months shoveling and doing maintenance work. He also worked at various delivery and shipping companies over the years.
Louie was beloved by all he met and will truly be missed by many. He leaves behind his loving parents Ruth Sherod (Lawrence) and Luther Sherod Sr. His younger sister but everyone assumed twin sister Stefanie Sherod. Also many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is also predeceased by maternal grandparents Norman and Eva Lawrence (Melanson) and paternal grandparents Calvin Bowling and Ruby Sherod (Williams).
A memorial service to celebrate Luther’s life will be on Saturday, November 8th from 5pm-7pm at Phaneuf Funeral Home at 243 Hanover St. Manchester, NH 03104.
