Lynda D. Hicks, 49, of 32 Rochambeau Street, Manchester, died May 7, 2002, at Catholic Medical Center. She was born in Manchester, NH on October 6, 1952, the daughter of Lucille (Melanson) Gauvin and the late Richard Gauvin and had been a lifelong resident of the Queen City. Lynda was a graduate of Goffstown High School Class of 1971. She worked at the 7-11 and Sarette Corner Convenience Stores, both located in Pinardville. She also worked at Johnny's Tire and Battery. Mrs. Hicks was a parishioner of St. Edmund Church (Church of the Transfiguration). Family members include her husband of 23 years, Frederick W. Hicks, Jr., her mother, both of Manchester, two aunts, two nephews Scott Griffith of Manchester and William Griffith of Raymond, several cousins. SERVICES: Calling hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue, Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday morning at 10 o'clock in St. Edmund Church (Church of The Transfigution). Burial will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
