Lynn M. (Cote) Blouin, 59, of Manchester, passed away on June 17, 2019.
She was born on Long Island, NY at Mitchell AFB on March 22, 1960, the daughter of Victor and Gweneth (Champs) Cote.
She graduated from the Academy of the Washington Ballet in 1977. Lynn was a founding member of the Washington Ballet professional company where she danced / toured with the company all over the world. The majority of her career with the Washington Ballet was over twenty years in addition to several years with the Boston Ballet. Later in her professional career with the Washington Ballet, she served as Ballet Mistress and Choreographer in Residence. She also choreographed for several dance companies nationally and received numerous recognitions and industry awards.
After that, she moved to NH where she worked in the business sector as an Executive Assistant. She was also a creative cook with a sense of adventure with an appreciation for classical music.
Family members include her husband of 14 years, Blaise Blouin; her mother, Gwendolyn Cote of Tysons Corner, VA; two step-daughters, Candice Blouin of SC and Ashley Blouin of Hooksett; and three grandchildren; two brothers, Adrien Cote and his wife Linda and David Cote ad his wife Betsy, all of VA; and nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, and cousins.
A memorial gathering will take place at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St, Manchester on Wednesday June 26th from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM followed by a memorial service in the funeral home chapel at 6:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Washington Ballet in honor/memory of Lynn Cote.
