Lynn D. Carey

Lynn D. Carey, 73, of Hooksett, NH died Tuesday, July 5, 2022, following a period of declining health.

Lynn was born in Hagerstown, MD June 15, 1949, to Samuel and Jean (Hoffman) Phillips. She was a graduate of Manchester West High School Class of 1967 and spent many years on the Manchester swim club and Manchester YMCA. She graduated from Plymouth State University in 1971 and enjoyed a successful career as a dispatcher with United Cable.

Lynn is survived by her two sons, Charles V. Carey IV and wife Christine Carey of Franklin, NH and Samuel P. Carey and wife Heather Burr Carey of Londonderry; grandchildren, Charles V. Carey V, and Cianna, Colby, Owen, Evelyn and Harper Carey; great granddaughter, Amelya Mae Carey; brother, Samuel E. Phillips III and wife Kathryn Phillips of Bedford, NH; nieces, Audra Phillips and Christa Phillips; her ex-husband, Charles V Carey III of Florida; and many, many cousins. Lynn was predeceased by her husband, John Rush of Hooksett, NH.
