Lynn Paquette (Cascio) of Allenstown,NH passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on November 2, 2025, after a courageous battle with lung cancer.

Born on January 30, 1961, in Somerville, Massachusetts, Lynn was the beloved daughter of the late Helena “Honey” (Mitrano) Cascio and Lionell “Butch” Cascio. She grew up in Raymond, New Hampshire, and graduated from Raymond High School in 1979.

Lynn dedicated more than 25 years to the State of New Hampshire’s Department of Transportation, where she worked in Bridge Design. Her strong work ethic, attention to detail, and kind spirit earned her the respect and friendship of many colleagues before her retirement in 2022.

In her spare time, she loved to spend time outside in the yard, tending to her many flowers and watching the hummingbirds. She also loved spending time with her two dogs, Shelby who she loved for 14 years and Bristol whom they adopted and loved for 6 years.

After retiring, Lynn found her greatest joy in spending time with her grandchildren, Joey and Riley, who brought endless light and laughter into her days.

Lynn was predeceased by her parents and a nephew. She is survived by her loving husband, Barry Paquette; her daughter, Chrystine, and son-in-law, Joe Hodgson Jr., of Wilmington, MA; her cherished grandchildren, Joey and Riley Hodgson; her sister, Denise Cascio Bolduc, and husband, Dan, and niece Jenna Bolduc of Hooksett, NH; and her brother, Kim Cascio, of Florida. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will miss her deeply.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 7th, from 5–7 p.m. at Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH 03104. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the New Hampshire SPCA at www.nhspca.org
