Madeline S. Bowles

LISBON, NH  Madeline S. Bowles, 94, died Wednesday August 11, 2010 at St. Johnsbury Health & Rehab.

Madeline was born the daughter of Arthur and Lyle Moulton in West Campton on May 23, 1916.

She was married to Adolphus Bowles in West Campton on October 14, 1933 where they lived until 1949 when they moved to Landaff.


Her hobbies included knitting and needle point. She enjoyed being a homemaker raising her family and looking after her home.


Madeline is survived by one son Kenneth Bowles of Littleton; one daughter Harriet Faretra of Concord; and many grand, great grand and great-great grandchildren.


She was predeceased by her husband Adolphus Bowles, 2 sons Arthur and Ronnie Bowles; 2 daughters Ruth Summers and Shirley Witham; and 2 sisters Marion Johnson and Irene Knowles.


SERVICES  A Calling hour will be held on Friday August 13, 2010 at the Keller & Pillsbury Funeral Homes, 101 Union St., Littleton from 7-8 PM
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Saturday the 14th at the funeral home, burial will follow at the Landaff Center Cemetery in Landaff. Friends and family will be invited to a reception after the committal at the cemetery.
