MAGDALINE HELEN E. WOODRUFF

LITTLETON  Magdaline Helen E. Woodruff, 93, formerly of Bretton Woods, NH, passed away at the Littleton Regional Hospital on Thursday, November 27, 2003.

Helen, the daughter of Emil and Elizabeth (Ruppert) Hornberger was born on November 9, 1910 in Fair Oaks, New York. She attended schools and worked in Middletown, NY where she resided until her retirement in 1975. She moved to NH shortly after her retirement and resided with her family.

She enjoyed gardening, crafts, cooking, and making things with her hands.
She enjoyed volunteering at the Littleton Senior Center where she was well known for the twinkle in her eye and always having a joke to share. She was a member of the R.S.V.P.

Surviving family members include a daughter, Lynn Markle and her husband, David of Bethlehem, NH; one sister, Elizabeth Kostya of Florida; and one granddaughter, Stacy Markle of Newton, MA. Her husband, William Alfred Woodruff predeceased her in 1980.

SERVICES  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, December 5, 2003 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in Middletown, NY. Burial will follow in St. Josephs Cemetery in Middletown, NY.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in her memory to the Littleton Senior Center, Cottage Street, Littleton, NH 03561
