Majella Marie Lawrence

Majella M. Lawrence, 83, of Manchester died March 19, 2012 at her home.

She was born on September 26, 1928 in Manchester the daughter of Philippe and Angeline (Bouchard) Miville. She was raised and educated in Manchester.

Majella loved her family dearly and enjoyed baking for them. She was the only one to get the beer cake right. She liked dancing, taking trips to the beach and playing Michigan Rummy.

She is survived by her 2 daughters, Gloria Dionne of Manchester and Anita Lawrence of Sanbornville; son, Michael Lawrence of Greenland; 6 grandchildren, Dawn Dionne, Heather Dionne, Danielle McGilvary, Emma Power, Elizabeth Power and William Lawrence; 1 great grandchild, Maddox McGilvary, 2 sisters, Louise Gamache of Nashua and Gertrude Violette of Hooksett, 2 sisters in-law, Marie Miville of Manchester and Mary Jane Lawrence of Manchester and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband William Lawrence who died in 1972, sister, Rita Dionne and her brothers, Maurice, Laurent, Felix, Lucien and Donald Miville.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Ste. Marie Church, 378 Notre Dame Ave, Manchester on Friday at 11:00am. There are no calling hours. Private interment will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Manchester. In lieu of flowers donations in Majella's name can be made to DAV, 399 Silver Street, Manchester, NH 03103.
