Marcel Lavoie

Marcel Lavoie, 59, of Goffstown, passed away at home on Friday, August 26, 2011.

Marcel was born in St. Rose Quebec, Canada on May 24, 1952, the son of the late Herve and Marie Rose (Morin) Lavoie. He attended elementary school in Canada and came to the United States during his teenage years. Marcel worked at Prevue Products for a number of years and then as a union carpenter with Local 67 until his retirement in 2008.

Marcel is survived by his wife of 38 years, Claire (Auger) Lavoie; three sons, Danny Lavoie of New Boston, Casey Lavoie of Goffstown, and Jason Lavoie of Goffstown; two brothers, Edwin Lavoie and Esdras Lavoie; four sisters, Edwina Lemieux, Rinette LeBlanc, Jacinthe Raymond, and Linda Pare; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will be receiving visitors on Thursday, September 1st from 4:00pm-6:00pm at Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street in Manchester. Funeral service to follow immediately at 6:00pm at the funeral home.
