Marcial E. Ouimette

Marcial E. Ouimette, 82, of Manchester, passed away on December 12, 2014 at the Elliot Hospital with his family by his side.

He was born in Quebec, Canada on July 6, 1932, the son of the late Edgar and Leontine (Riendeau) Ouimette and had been a long-time Manchester resident. He owned and operated House of Plumbing.

Family members include his wife of 63 years, Yvette (Bourassa) Ouimette; three sons, Richard Ouimette and his wife Debbie of Candia, Gilles Ouimette and his wife Tracy of Goffstown, and Norman Ouimette and his wife Diane of Manchester; four grandchildren, Stephanie, Sarah, Melissa, and Jeremy; one step-grandchild, Brian; two great grandchildren, Alex and Audrey; one step-great grandchild, Alice; two sisters, Myrelle Tremblay of FL, and Lorraine Giroux of Quebec, Canada; and several nephews, nieces and cousins.

Marcial, also known as Pepere, was a remarkable and exceptionally loving man. He was a source of joy and happiness to his family, friends, and neighbors. He had more than enough love to share. He will be terribly missed but he left a positive and loving example to all who had the good fortune to know him.

Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Ave, on Tuesday from 5 to 8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday morning at 10:00 in the Parish of the Transfiguration. Committal services will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
