Margaret M. Desharnais

Margaret “Peggy” M. (Donegan) Desharnais, 45, of 198 Grove Street, passed away at her resident on September 5, 2007. She was born in Boston, MA on December 1, 1961, the daughter of the late Edward and Margaret (Hallisey) Donegan and had resided for several years in Somerville, MA before moving to Manchester in 1984. She had worked at Parkland Medical Center until her illness. Prior to that, she worked for Hadco in Derry. She loved the beach, going to flea markets, cats and spending time with her children. She will be missed by her many friends. Family members include her husband of 21 years, Joseph Desharnais; a son, Brian Holmes of Manchester; three daughters, Kelly Holmes, Amy Desharnais and Ashley Desharnais, all of Manchester; two sisters, Maureen Barry of Winchester, MA and Jeanne Ahern of Medford, MA and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. A private memorial service will take place at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Jimmy Fund, care of the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, 10 Brookline Place West, 6th floor, Brookline, MA 02445-7226, ATTN: Contribution Services.
