Margaret Eva Wiggin, 92, died Sunday, December 7, 2025 at Bedford Hills in Bedford, NH. She was born on December 15, 1932 in Manchester, the daughter of the late George T. Wiggin and Bernice Hilchey Wiggin.

Margaret graduated from Manchester High School West in 1950. She then continued her education at Mary Hitchcock Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in Hanover and graduated as a registered nurse. She started her nursing career in Boston, then continued her career in Cleveland, OH, Denver, CO and Greenwich, CT before returning to NH. She retired as Pediatric Head Nurse at Nashua Memorial Hospital in Nashua, NH.

Previously, Margaret had been a Deacon of the Bedford Presbyterian Church, President of the Bedford Historical Society, member of the Molly Stark Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and Friends of Stark Park. She was an usher at the Palace Theatre for many years.

Margaret spent many winters in Naples, FL with friends and family. She also traveled extensively throughout the US and Europe. In her later years, she enjoyed many European river cruises.

She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters: Virginia Wiggin Robinson, George Taylor Wiggin, Jr., Christine Wiggin Wolffer, and David Eliott Wiggin.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews: Patricia Robinson Dias, Stephen Robinson, Sally Wolffer Roos, Nancy Wolffer Hawreluk, James Wolffer, Patricia Wiggin Silva, Joanne Wiggin Perreault, Robyn Wiggin, Jennifer Wiggin Young, Karen Wiggin Sack, Jeffrey Wiggin, Kimberly Wiggin Schutze, and Todd Wiggin. She is also survived by a niece-in-law, Charlene Robinson, who was a great help to Margaret in her final years.

No formal services will be held at this time. Private burial will take place in the spring at Bedford Center Cemetery. Donations in Margaret’s memory may be made to the Bedford Historical Society, 24 N. Amherst Road, Bedford, NH.
