Marguerite Ella (Maxwell) Clark, 90, of Littleton, NH, died March 6, 2010 at Littleton Regional Hospital after an extended illness. She was born November 22, 1919 in Littleton, NH to Samuel E. and Minnie M. (Crowe) Maxwell. She graduated from Littleton High School in 1938 and Hesser Business College in 1939. She was a member of the Littleton High School Association for 21 years, the Littleton Historical Society and enjoyed volunteering at the Littleton Senior Center as well as volunteering in other Littleton area functions. Marguerite is predeceased by her husband, Alexander R. Clark who died May 13, 1995 and survived by her son and his wife James M. and Linda Clark of Monroe, NH, daughter and her husband, Candace C. and James Murphy of Jaffrey, NH and sister, Dorothy M. Black of Littleton, NH, (3) grandchildren; TSgt Sean J. Murphy of Almagordo, NM, Thomas A. Murphy of Cherry Hill, NJ and Cadet Michael W. Clark of West Point, NY, (2) great-grandchildren as well as many extended family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held May 15, 2010 at 4pm with committal to follow at Glenwood Cemetery and Rev. Gene Mockabee officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Littleton High School Alumni Association or the Littleton Historical Society.
