Marguerite M. (Dubois) Peterson, 88, formerly of 718 Hevey Street, died on Thanksgiving morning, November 24, 2005 at the Ridgewood Center in Bedford. She was born in Canada on September 28, 1917, the daughter of Arthur and Albertine (Dallaire) Dubois and had been a Manchester resident for most of her life. She was a long time parishioner of the Church of the Transfiguration. She was the widow of Albert Peterson who died in 1972. She was predeceased by two sisters, Vivian Dubois and Doris Cedras and also by a grandson, Jeffrey Lavalliere. She enjoyed dancing, singing and spending time with her grandchildren. Family members include a son, Robert Peterson of Manchester; three daughters, Mrs. Louis (Priscilla Pat) Martel of Manchester, Mrs. Gregory (Beverly) Weir and Deborah Chaffee both of Hooksett; twelve grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; and many nephews, nieces and cousins. In Her Life: She had a courageous ten year battle with Alzheimers disease. Her family wishes to thank all the caregiver at the Ridgewood Center for the love and care they gave over the years. A memorial gathering will take place on Sunday from 5 to 7 PM at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester. A memorial service will follow in the funeral home chapel.
