Maria "Babcia" Janina (Nowak) Sarette, 75, passed away on April 3, 2026, in Sun City West, Arizona. She was born on June 25, 1950, in Strzyżów, Poland, the daughter of Franciszek and Wiktoria Nowak.

She was the beloved wife of Norman E. Sarette. They were married on June 6, 1970, in Manchester, New Hampshire, and shared over 55 years of marriage.

Maria was employed at Osram Sylvania for 39 years, where she dedicated much of her professional life.

She enjoyed vacationing with family and friends, cooking, playing bingo, card and board games, bowling, shopping, and taking her mother and sister to play the penny slots.

She was predeceased by her siblings, Tadeusz J. Nowak and Zofia J. Nowak.

She is survived by her loving husband, Norman E. Sarette; her daughter, Tracy Vaughan, and son-in-law, Luke Vaughan; and her son, David Sarette, and daughter-in-law, Kerri Sarette.; and her 3 grandchildren, Alexandra, Tyler, and Julianna.

Services: A celebration of Maria’s life will be held on her birthday, June 25, at The Oscar Barn, 191 W River Rd, Hooksett, NH 03106 from 11:00 to 2:00.
