Maria I. Ramos

Maria I. (Arroyo) Ramos, 85, of Manchester, died January 30, 2008 at her residence. Born in Orocovis, Puerto Rico on April 10, 1922, she had been a Manchester area resident for over 30 years. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was predeceased by her husband, Anastacio Ramos who died in 1985. Family members include four sons, Herbert Ramos and John Ramos, both of Manchester, Peter Ramos of Claremont and Anastacio "Harry" Ramos of WA; a daughter, Maria LaPlante of CA; 18 grandchildren, many great grandchildren; two brothers and five sisters; and several nephews, nieces and cousins. A graveside committal service will take place on Monday morning at 11:00 in Pine Grove Cemetery. Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium is in charge of arrangements.
