Marie-Blanche (Tremblay) Boyer, 83, of 32 Chapeleau Ave, died March 14, 2006 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack. She was born in Coaticook, PQ, Canada on September 23, 1922, the daughter of Arthur and Amelia (Gauthier) Tremblay and had been a Manchester resident for many years. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella, Les Dames de Ste. Anne, Coeur Joyoux and the Columbiettes. She was a parishioner of the Church of the Transfiguration. She enjoyed crafts and making blankets and other items in her loom. Family members include her husband of 55 years, Leo-Paul Boyer; three sons, Real Boyer and his wife Francine of Goffstown, Maurice Boyer and his wife Jocelyn of Newport, VT and Christian Boyer of Manchester; one daughter, Juliette Boyer and her husband Yvon Lemieux of Manchester; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren; two brothers, Denis Tremblay and Joseph Tremblay, both of Sherbrook, PQ; two sisters, Rita Tremblay of Coaticook, PQ and Sr. Irene Tremblay, PM of Drummondville, PQ; and many nephews, nieces and cousins. She was also predeceased by a grandchild. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street on Thursday from 5 to 8 PM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 6:00 PM. Calling hours will also be held on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 PM in the Centre Funeraire Cooperatif de Coaticook in Coaticook, PQ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday morning at 11:00 in St. Jean de Baptiste Church, Coaticook with burial to follow in St. Edmond Cemetery.
