Marie Reine "Irene" Brousseau, 91, formerly of 334 North Main Street, died December 13, 2002 at Villa Crest Nursing Home. She was born in Manchester on January 6, 1911, the daughter of Jeffrey and Arzellie (Pepin) Brousseau and had been a lifelong resident of the City. She worked at Amoskeag Mills and later at Edison McGraw until her retirement in 1972. She was a parishioner of Ste. Marie Church and a past member of L'Enfant Marie of Ste. Marie. She belonged to the West Side Senior Center and enjoyed playing cards and crocheting clothing for needy children. Family members include two nieces, Pauline Manning of Manchester and Suzanne Smith of CT; one nephews, Raymond Brousseau of CA; and several grandnephews and grandnieces. A calling hour will take place at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue on Tuesday morning from 9:30 to 10:30. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11:00 in Ste.
