Marie C. Butt

Marie (Trotta) Butt, 71, of 50 Roger Road, Goffstown, NH died February 29, 2004, at the Elliot Hospital. She was born in Somerville, Ma., on August 30, 1932, the daughter of Lena (Molignano) Trotta and the late Christopher Trotta and had resided in Merrimack, NH for 20 years before moving to Goffstown 20 years ago. Marie loved the ocean, playing cards and recreational gambling. She treasured her family. Family members include her daughter, Deborah Gregory of Deerfield, NH, her mother of Medford, Ma., two grandchildren, three brothers, Christopher Trotta of Billerica, Ma., Richard Trotta of N. Andover, Ma. and Robert Trotta of Medford, Ma., several nieces, nephews and cousins. IN HER LIFE: She loved her two grandchildren, Shannon Dempsey of Mandeville, Louisiana and Stewart Gregory III of Goffstown, NH. Stewart always said how young and independent she was and Shannon will always remember her time at the beach with her Nana Marie. SERVICES: A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday morning at 10 o’clock in St. Patrick Church, Manchester, NH. Urnment will follow in Mount Calvary Mausoleum.
