Miss Marie Doucette, 93, of Manchester, died March 19, 2007 at St. Teresas in Manchester. She was born on September 18, 1913 in Montpelier, VT the daughter of Louis and Amanda (Beaudet) Doucette. She received her grammar school education in Vermont and graduated from West High School in Manchester. She received her Masters degree in nursing, having taken nursing courses at various colleges. She was a resident of Manchester for most of her life. Miss Doucette worked as a nurse for the city of Manchester throughout her career. She worked with babies and the children in the school system. She was a communicant of Ste. Marie Church for many years. She is survived by her sisters, Claire Cantin of Manchester, Rita Dancause of Sutton and Agnes Beaulieu of Florida and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Calling Hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 250 Coolidge Ave, Manchester, NH on Wednesday from 6-8PM. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:00 AM at Ste. Marie Church. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Manchester. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Maries name can be made to ones favorite charity.
