Marie L. Dubuc

Marie L. (Demers) (Pereira) Dubuc, 94, of 56 Sebbins Pond Dr., Bedford, died October 5, 2002 at Harborside Nursing Home in Bedford. She was born in Dover on September 11, 1908, the daughter of Edmond and Zelia Demers and had been a resident of the Manchester and Bedford communities for most of her life. She was the widow of Antonio Pereira who died in 1957 and Lionel Dubuc who died in 1994. She worked at J. F. McElwain for several years and was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth Seton Church. She was a past member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the ACA and also belonged to the Shrine of Our Lady of Miraculous Medals. She was an avid reader and enjoyed playing bingo, golfing and dancing. Family members include two daughters, Doris M. Lavoie of Bedford and Louise Pelletier of Palm Bay, FL and West Kennebunk, ME; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren; and several nephews, nieces and cousins. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday morning at 10:00 in St. Elizabeth Seton Church. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
