Marilyn Lois Morin

Marilyn Lois Morin, 89, of Manchester, passed away on September 19, 2022. She was the loving wife of the late Roland Morin. Together they celebrated over 65 years of marriage. Marilyn was born on May 1, 1933 in Manchester, NH to Freeman and Mildred (Prescott) Young.

Marilyn was a feisty woman who always said what was on her mind. She fiercely loved her family and took great pride in making a home for them. She enjoyed crocheting in her spare time and has made many hats, scarves, and blankets for her children and grandchildren over the years. She loved to indulge in some gambling, always enjoying a trip to Foxwoods or playing Bingo.

Marilyn is survived by her five children; Darlene Whitmore and her husband Robert of Tennessee, Roland Morin, Jr and his wife Jill of New York, Patricia Morin of Tennessee, Madeleine Musgrave and her husband Tom of Bedford, and Rene Morin of Manchester, grandchildren; Jason, Danielle, Joseph, Sean, Renee, Kim, Laci, Zach, Jackson, Matt, Nate, Jacob, Abbi, and Rene Jr, sister Ann Pelletier, God Child Cathleen, and many great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

She is predeceased by her brothers, Freeman Young, Jr and Roy Young.

A memorial service and celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 1^st at 1:00pm in Marilyn’s home. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend.
