Marilyn June Suggs passed away peacefully on August 22, 2026, at the age of 91.

Marilyn spent part of her childhood in St. Johnsbury, Vermont. She later moved to Connecticut, where she spent the remainder of her childhood and began raising her own family. She eventually settled in New Hampshire, where she continued raising her family.

Marilyn’s faith was a guiding force throughout her life. She was a devoted and faithful member of her church community, where she found comfort, fellowship, and purpose. She lived out her faith through service, kindness, and caring for others. Marilyn especially loved preparing meals for church functions and Bible study groups, finding great joy in bringing people together through food and fellowship. Her strong devotion to her faith remained an important source of strength and meaning throughout her life.

Her commitment to caring for others also guided her professional life. Marilyn worked for many years as a nursing aide at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire. She devoted much of her life to helping and caring for people in need.

Above all, Marilyn was a mother of six children. She is survived by her daughters, Michaelle Smith Suggs, Monica Paquette, and Tammy Reali; and her sons, Patrick Morris and William (Joe) Morris. She was predeceased by her beloved son, Douglas Morris, who passed away in 1991.

Marilyn was also a cherished grandmother and great-grandmother. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her immense joy. Her family, church community, and many dear friends will miss her deeply.

Marilyn’s family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Pemi Baker Hospice & Home Health for the compassionate care and support provided to Marilyn at the end of her life.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Marilyn’s memory may be made to Rumney Baptist Church in Rumney, New Hampshire.
